I am thrilled to be returning to Emerald City ComiCon! Seattle is such a lovely place and I love being up in the Pacific Northwest. I’m delighted to be doing events not only at ECCC but also with the Seattle Public Library and local indie bookstore Brick and Mortar Books!
I had a great time attending FanX 2018 as a guest. It’s always wonderful to meet readers especially youth in areas that may not have access to queer content or know that such content exists. I met so many amazing librarians, parents, teachers, and also youth who stopped by my table to say hello and discover my books.
I am so excited to be returning to Atlanta, Georgia for my third DragonCon! I can’t believe time has flown by so fast. This is honestly one of my favorite conventions ever, it has such a wonderful energy! Check out the details below for where to find me!
I’m so excited to be attending SDCC this year! I’ll be on a few panels and doing some signings (and probably some cosplay) so hopefully I’ll see you there!
Had an awesome time at AnaCon in Anaheim, California! It was such a delight to visit the Anaheim Public Library and be a part of this incredible event on February 2, 2018. I love libraries and it was amazing to see this transformed, celebrating books and literature and comics and had a great festive vibe. There were multiple panels and also games, giveaways and cosplayers!
SLCC was so much fun! It was my first time ever being at this Comic Con, and I was blown away by the energy and the passion of the fans, the creative cosplays and of course the wonderful people who came to my panels and my signing! I was nervous moderating my first two panels at this con, Say It On The Page! and Turning Ideas into Novels, but the discussion and thought-provoking questions made it all worth it.
This year I’ve been invited to my first ever Salt Lake Comic Con! I’m so excited to travel to Utah and present at a number of panels, including moderating Say It On The Page! which is going to be all about LGBTQ+ rep actualized in novels.
I had so much fun at DragonCon this year! It was a blast to reunite with some amazing folks who I only pretty much get to see once a year, and it was so much fun being on the panels LGBTQIA in YA, Magic and Worldbuilding, Somewhere Over The Rainbow and the Craft of Dystopia!
This week I’m heading to DragonCon, and I’m so excited! It’s going to be such a great time, I’ve got so many exciting things planned, including two panels: The Craft of Dystopia in Westin Chastain F-H on Saturday and LGBTQIA in YA in Marriot A707 on Sunday!
I remember my very first SDCC: I was overwhelmed, nervous, and just loved all the nerdery of it all. I walked the floors, went to panels, and waited for hours and hours in line to get a chance to see some of the creators who inspired me so much. This year I was invited as a guest to SDCC and it was such an amazing experience!
